About GR Motorsport Electrics

GR Motorsport Electrics has been a family run and owned business and an integral part of the Australian Motor Racing industry for over 25 years. Gary started from humble beginnings as an apprentice on his 16th birthday, 3 times being awarded Apprentice of the Year. When he was 21 he became a partner in Kendon Auto Electrical and introduced the business to the V8 Supercar industry.

Gary found there was a market for a specialist motorsport electrician in the V8 Supercar industry and in 1997 sold Kendon Auto Electrical and GR Motorsport Electrics was born.  GR Motorsport Electrics has become the leader in competition electrical systems and wire harnessing.

Gary and Jake, with Jan who runs the office, can offer a depth of knowledge and experience for any car enthusiast.

GR Motorsport Electrics supply Supercar teams, Formula Ford, Formula Vee, Ski Race Boats and Off-Roaders with engine management, chassis wiring looms and data acquisition looms. GR Motorsport Electrics has built electrical systems for cars and boats that have won every major race and racing series in the country.

When Gary isn’t helping clients get the most out of their motorsport vehicles, he is enjoying his own.  He loves historic car racing, running his son’s Formula Vee, bike riding and boating.
